Description
This dry white wine is made from the local Rukatac grape variety, organically grown on the same steep slopes as our Plavac Mali, which makes it quite unique. After hand-harvesting, it undergoes natural fermentation and two days of maceration on the skins, which gives the wine more body and complexity. It is aged for two years and has great potential for further aging. A very mineral and complex white wine, with a long finish, and at the same time very refreshing.
The name Stalagmit comes from the stalagmites that can be found in our vineyards. The Stalagmit wine is reminiscent of the limestone rocks and the presence of minerals in our vineyards, as well as the minerality of the wine itself.
