Description
Stagnum wines represent a line of our best wines from the Plavac mali variety. They are produced from the highest quality grapes from our old hand-cultivated vineyards on the southern slopes of the Pelješac peninsula. Fermentation is spontaneous using exclusively indigenous yeasts, and aging takes place in large wooden barrels made of Slavonian oak, and this vintage was aged for 6 years. The wine is unfiltered and with minimal amounts of sulfites.
Specific soils, centuries-old tradition and a completely natural production method place this wine in a special group of natural great wines of high elegance.
Stagnum is a complex wine with a pronounced bouquet, concentration and elegance. It is at the same time strong and flexible, and has a gentlemanly appearance.
