Description
It shows deep, almost opaque purple colour. The first impression on the medium intense nose is finesse. We get a fine melange of riper black fruits, smoke, toast fine oak, with a touch of dry Mediterranean herbs. There is wild cherry and some earthy undertones showing some development. Teran wines can be a pretty rough, but not this one. It shows complexity and finesse. It is dry on the palate with high and balanced acidity levels. Medium bodied with ripe tannins which are on the lower side, quantity wise. If open and talkative on the nose, it is bit quieter on the palate. Bitter cherry and dark chocolate add to the equation. Still on its way to the zenith,almost there. It doesn’t desire to impress you on the first sight, it rather takes its time to display all its nuances on the palate. It remains restrained and it remains refined. This wine represents a modern view on Teran showing excellent potential to match with food and above all possesses very good drinkability.
